Tshopo authorities have suspended some facilities for treating suspected or confirmed Ebola patients without notifying response teams. The governor also described attacks on health workers and warned of further sanctions.

4. South Kivu’s government-aligned authorities halt demonstrations

The Kinshasa-aligned provincial government suspended public demonstrations in areas of South Kivu under its control. It cited infiltration risks and remarks by former president Kabila that it described as hateful and divisive, but identified no specific passages. The order has no stated end date.
